Kokorozashi

「志(Kokorozashi)」means "ambition".
For example,
A man with great ambitions : 志(ambitions)の大きい(with great)人(a man)

The upper part of 「志」 is 「士」 that is converted from 「之」 whose meaning is "go". The lower part of this is 「心」 whose meaning is "mind". The combination "go" with "mind" results in building the meanings, "mind goes" and then it is transformed into the meaning, "mind is drivened". As a result, 「志」 was done!
